BIBLE WARNS US
But David said to Abishai, “Don’t destroy him! Who can lay a hand on the LORD’s anointed and be guiltless?
“No!” David said. “Don’t kill him. For who can remain innocent after attacking the LORD’s anointed one?
DID YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT DAVID SAYS ; HE SPEAKS ABOUT SAUL WHO WAS ANOINTED KING OF ISRAEL, BUT WHEN HE DISOBEYED GOD’S WORD, GOD TOOK HIS HOLY SPIRIT FROM SAUL AND ANOINTS DAVID.
Though David know Saul is afflicted by evil spirit, he said these verses ;he did not think any evil against Saul ,because Saul was”the LORD’s anointed one”
But nowadays many of us judge and speak against god’s servants
you could say that, this thing that the pastor or evangelist or any servant of God doing is a sin; then what you could do is:
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. Matthew:7:1
if you can tell them privately tell them may be they would have done it not knowingly and not criticize them publicly
when Miriam and Aaron spoke evil against Moses ;God stood for Moses against Miriam and Aaron;
Read this fully:
1 Miriam and Aaron began to talk against Moses because of his Cushite wife, for he had married a Cushite. 2 “Has the Lord spoken only through Moses?” they asked. “Hasn’t he also spoken through us?” And the Lord heard this.
3 (Now Moses was a very humble man, more humble than anyone else on the face of the earth.)
4 At once the Lord said to Moses, Aaron and Miriam, “Come out to the tent of meeting, all three of you.” So the three of them went out. 5 Then the Lord came down in a pillar of cloud; he stood at the entrance to the tent and summoned Aaron and Miriam. When the two of them stepped forward, 6 he said, “Listen to my words:
“When there is a prophet among you,
I, the Lord, reveal myself to them in visions,
I speak to them in dreams.
7 But this is not true of my servant Moses;
he is faithful in all my house.
8 With him I speak face to face,
clearly and not in riddles;
he sees the form of the Lord.
Why then were you not afraid
to speak against my servant Moses?”
9 The anger of the Lord burned against them, and he left them.
10 When the cloud lifted from above the tent, Miriam’s skin was leprous[a]—it became as white as snow. Aaron turned toward her and saw that she had a defiling skin disease, 11 and he said to Moses, “Please, my lord, I ask you not to hold against us the sin we have so foolishly committed. 12 Do not let her be like a stillborn infant coming from its mother’s womb with its flesh half eaten away.”
13 So Moses cried out to the Lord, “Please, God, heal her!”
14 The Lord replied to Moses, “If her father had spit in her face, would she not have been in disgrace for seven days? Confine her outside the camp for seven days; after that she can be brought back.” 15 So Miriam was confined outside the camp for seven days, and the people did not move on till she was brought back.
16 After that, the people left Hazeroth and encamped in the Desert of Paran.
Beware brother/sister not to speak against God’s anointed one
Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. At that time each will receive their praise from God.
What if that servant of God had repented to God but you still speak against them God may turn against you
Benny hinn said:Once a pastor spoke against him in a far away country but God told that pastor to ask forgiveness from Pastor Benny hinn and he said even though I do not know that he spoke against me; God is watching both of us, so he spoke for me.
Famous evangelist Dr.D.G.S.Dhinakaran also known as “Apostle of God”; once told a man was speaking against him in a city, though Brother Dhinakaran did not know about this; he received a letter from that person, he wrote that ;his tongue got stuck within his mouth that night, when he spoke against him and he told though he did not know, what the matter actually was and he spoke for fun; but God punished him for that and so that person asked Dhinakaran to pray for him,for which he prayed and forgave that person.
My dear friend; we are God’s children and they are God’s ministers; beware of not exalting ourselves against them, but with all humility, pray for them and thier ministries…
