Will I be forgiven?

“God hates sin”

“The wages of sin is death”

“God cannot forgive this sin”

I have heard this many times

And I know i am in the wrong way but yet I need forgiveness

I want to reconcile with God

Is there any way?

Many people in this world are asking this question. If you are in same situation, know one thing God is always near to you

We are human beings and we surely fall and sin against God Bible says this clearly;

 23 since all have sinned and continually fall short of the glory of God, Romans:3

But it does not mean that we all can sin;bible tells this in the following verses;

24 and are being justified [declared free of the guilt of sin, made acceptable to God, and granted eternal life] as a gift by His [precious, undeserved] grace, through the redemption [the payment for our sin] which is [provided] in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God displayed publicly [before the eyes of the world] as a [life-giving] sacrifice of atonement and reconciliation (propitiation) by His blood [to be received] through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness [which demands punishment for sin], because in His forbearance [His deliberate restraint] He passed over the sins previously committed [before Jesus’ crucifixion] Romans:3

God forgives us all and helps us to be in the eternal kingdom of God. But we must do one thing it is to go to the Cross where Jesus died for us.

 1 John:1:7

“the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin [by erasing the stain of sin, keeping us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations]”.

Will Jesus really forgive me, i am a big sinner?

Lets see;

John:8:1-11

1 But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.the-sermon-on-the-mount.jpg

2At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them.

 3The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group

4and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery.

 5In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women.Now what do you say?”

They were using this question as a trap,in order to have a basis for accusing him.

7When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”

 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.

9At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. mary_m2.jpg

10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”

11“No one, sir,” she said.

There is nothing in the world that Jesus cannot forgive because Look at Jesus on the crossthe-passion-of-the-christ-7.jpg

He died for You my friend; your sins are not an exception for God

It is a sin so it should be forgiven

what should I do to be forgiven?

  1. Repent from your sins:

    This can be done only by you; if you have a desire to sin and ask for forgiveness God forgives but alas! you will be in that sin again!You should leave those sins you must throw those thoughts away then if you ask forgiveness to God you will be surely 100%forgiven Proverbs:28:13 He who covers his transgressions will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes his sins will obtain mercy.

  2. Ask for forgiveness:

    You must confess your sins to God and ask for his forgiveness;without asking for forgiveness to God you cannot be free

    “So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.” John : 8:36

  3. Never turn back to that path:

    You have regretted for your sins and asked for forgiveness but now you must be careful you should never turn to that path from where you have come  1 Peter:2:22 It has happened to them according to the true proverb, “A DOG RETURNS TO ITS OWN VOMIT,” and, “A sow, after washing, returns to wallowing in the mire.”

  4. Ask for God’s holy spirit to protect you:

    God will protect you from sins; because after your repentance to God you will be going to same work place same school or college so now you should live an entirely different life before those who have seen you committing sins earlier when Holy spirit is with you He will help you to overcome temptations and to be a testimony to them  1 corinthians:10:13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

  5. Forgive yourself:

    You should overcome guilt and the thoughts or voice that calls you a sinner because you are now the child of God.

God has cleansed you not with water or oil but with his own blood

Many will ask God for forgiveness even after God forgives it Jesus will say I don’t remember what you are talking about because;

“Once again you will have compassion on us. You will trample our sins under your feet and throw them into the depths of the ocean!”  Micah:7:19
