A church is a place of worship
24/7 we have the rights to pray and worship God anywhere we like
But Bible says we should
Hebrew:10:25
25 not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully] as you see the day [of Christ’s return] approaching.
We all love to go to church
Many times when we have to speak with God and shed our tears we prefer God’s home than our friend’s house; we are sure God can turn our sorrow to Joy, solve our problems.
Living Bible (TLB)
Isaiah 56:7
7 I will bring them also to my holy mountain of Jerusalem and make them full of joy within my House of Prayer.
I will accept their sacrifices and offerings, for my Temple shall be called “A House of Prayer for All People”!
But today let’s examine ourselves how we behave inside a church
{It doesn’t mean I am perfect so I am writing this post I must also change}
John:4:21-24 Jesus replied, “The time is coming, ma’am, when we will no longer be concerned about whether to worship the Father here or in Jerusalem.
For it’s not where we worship that counts,
but how we worship—is our worship spiritual and real?
Do we have the Holy Spirit’s help?
For God is Spirit, and we must have his help to worship as we should.
The Father wants this kind of worship from us.
Never get distracted in a service stay concentrated to what God speaks to you pay attention to him and worship God and pray like only you and Jesus is there
Similarly never distract others attention from prayer
Common mistakes we do which can be changed are moving from our place in the midst of the service when you do others will look towards you and they will be distracted to you
Then speaking in the time of prayer /worship/hearing sermons your neighbour will be disturbed because of you
Your mobiles should be switched off
It will disturb and deviate others
If you say I am using it in silent/vibrating mode then also you will be distracted
Same point
You should consider that only you and Jesus are there inside the church
That doesn’t mean to speak/pray louder rather it creates intimacy with God
Exodus:34:20
…”No one is to appear before Me empty-handed.”
2 Corinthians 9:7 – Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, [so let him give]; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
Malachi 3:8-10 – Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it]
We are in the church to worship God to learn his commandments and to pray but instead if we would use that place as a meeting place for your friends/family it is wrong
We can speak and greet others but should not gossip about others or mocking fellow worshipers/cheating people in the church
Help poor people in your church
Never isolate yourself or restrict to only your friends in your level
But rather try to show some love and care for poor families and show your love to them
They should not feel uncomfortable with you inside the church
1 As you enter the Temple, keep your ears open and your mouth shut!
Don’t be a fool who doesn’t even realize it is sinful to make rash promises to God, for he is in heaven and you are only here on earth, so let your words be few.
Just as being too busy gives you nightmares, so being a fool makes you a blabbermouth.
4 So when you talk to God and vow to him that you will do something, don’t delay in doing it, for God has no pleasure in fools. Keep your promise to him.
5 It is far better not to say you’ll do something than to say you will and then not do it.
6-7 In that case, your mouth is making you sin. Don’t try to defend yourself by telling the messenger from God that it was all a mistake to make the vow.
That would make God very angry; and he might destroy your prosperity. Dreaming instead of doing is foolishness, and there is ruin in a flood of empty words; fear God instead.
Ecclesiastes:5:1-7
A short story:
Once a pastor narrated a story during the sermon
One sunday morning; Richard heard the church bell ringing
he was really interested in attending the church, being a newcomer to that city, he did not know anyone in the church,so he went to the church
Richard was a poor man, who came to the city to find a job, so he did not have good dress to wear
But he was so much in love with God and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal saviour, only few months ago
When he entered the main entrance gate, he looked at the decorations which was so rich and beautiful
But when he tried to enter inside the hall, 2 ushers stopped him and said, “please don’t come in”
Richard asked ‘why’? The prayer has already begun, sir.
They said, “people who attend this service are so rich, you with this rag, should not enter inside”
If you need, go out and stand there and listen to the sermon
Richard did not know what to do.
But he weeped and weeped and he was chased outside
So, Richard prayed to Jesus and cried because he was unable to enter the church and hear the sermon
So after few minutes, he decided to go a round the church, to see the best place, so that he could hear without any disturbances
When he was walking, he saw another man dressed well in his suits and walking in the opposite direction, he was also so much depressed
Richard stopped him and questioned him:
Sir, why are you so much depressed?
He replied, “I was not allowed in brother”
Richard told ,”sir you are dressed perfectly, I was chased for not wearing good dress but what about you, why was you not allowed inside?”
He replied, “for more than 20 years, I am doing like this and I am not allowed in, so I go around the church believing they would one day call me inside the church”
Richard was amazed to hear this, he said, “sir for 20 years?”
Yes, my child; I am Jesus christ of Nazareth , I am not allowed inside this church
They give importance to many things, but not for me
But today, I have found a place to live in, it is in you, who sought me diligently
Then he disappeared.
My friends give importance to God first it is he who chosen us, not we
Amen!
Sometimes we may be in sorrow but we won’t show it and disguise ourselves in the peak of happiness, even if we cry, we will hide it from others
This happens; but God sees your tears he will surely wipe them away
Psalm:56:8
You have taken account of my wanderings; Put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not recorded in Your book?
A young man had no job and he struggled to make his living; so he went to the zoo and asked about the job vacancies.
They told him there was a big gorilla in that zoo but it died so they have its fur and if the boy wants any job they said you should wear it and perform some show in the zoo
With no other hope the boy accepted it
He used to wear the gorilla skin and roam in the zoo thereby entertaining people and sometimes they will put him inside a cage and he will act as a gorilla
One day when he was put in the cage; he stepped backwards and he heard some noise so he turned back and saw a lion standing ready to bounce on him So the boy got frightened he started to shout HELP! HELP! HELP!
But the lion suddenly said, “Hey stop shouting or they will quit both of us from the job”
Likewise we too wear masks in our day-to-day life
But God created you unique a very peculiar one
There is no Copy of you can be found anywhere in the whole world
You were made by God himself
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. Psalms:139:14
the whole story is in my website
Please take time to stop there and read it:)

YES, YOU READ IT CORRECT; THE PATH TO HEAVEN IS TOO NARROW JESUS TOLD THIS IN HIS SERMON
REFER MATTHEW:7:13,14
13“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.
14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it”.
WHAT IS THAT GATE AND THE WAY?
JESUS [I AM THE GATE; I AM THE WAY](JOHN:10:9;JOHN:14:6)
WHY IS IT NARROW?
“ONLY ONE WAY”; THERE IS NO SALVATION OUTSIDE OF JESUS IF ONE MUST ENTER HEAVEN HE SHOULD GO TO JESUS
JOHN:10:5,6,7,9
They will never follow a stranger; instead they will run away from him, because they don’t recognize the voice of strangers.”Jesus gave them this illustration, but they did not understand what He was telling them.So Jesus said again, “I assure you: I am the door of the sheep.I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved and will come in and go out and find pasture.
IS IT EASY TO ENTER?
NO.{LUKE:13:24 Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because I tell you, many will try to enter and won’t be able}
THEN HOW CAN I ENTER IT?
JESUS SAID MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ENTER IT JESUS DID NOT SAY IT IS VERY DIFFICULT SO DON’T YOU EVER TRY IT; HE SAID MAKE EFFORT, TRY AGAIN AND AGAIN YOU WILL ENTER IT.
24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
Jude:1
Jesus Christ is able to keep us from falling and present us before our God without any fault
